Nitrile Rubber is made from the copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene. The content of acrylonitrile is 18 percent 50 percent . The higher the content of acrylonitrile, the better the resistance to petrochemical hydrocarbon fuel oil. The low temperature performance becomes worse, and the general operating temperature range is -25100 degree . Nitrile rubber is one of the most commonly used rubbers for oil seals and O-rings.

Advantage:

● Good oil resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance and high pressure oil resistance.

● Good compression, anti-wear and elongation force.

Shortcoming:

● Not suitable for use in polar solvents such as ketones, ozone, nitro hydrocarbons, MEK and chloroform.

Scope of application: used to make fuel tanks, lubricating oil tanks and rubber parts used in petroleum hydraulic oil, gasoline, water, silicone grease, silicone oil, diester lubricating oil, glycol hydraulic oil and other fluid media, especially Seal parts. It can be said to be the most widely used and lowest cost rubber seals.

The O-ring has excellent sealing performance and long working life. The working life of dynamic pressure seal is 5-10 times higher than that of conventional rubber sealing products, and can be up to tens of times. Under certain conditions, it can have the same life as the sealing base.

The frictional resistance of the O{{0}}ring is small, and the dynamic and static frictional forces are equal, which is 1/2-1/4 of the frictional force of the "0"-shaped rubber ring, which can eliminate the "crawling" phenomenon of movement at low speed and low pressure.

The O-ring is highly wear-resistant, and has an automatic elastic compensation function after the sealing surface is worn.

Good self-lubricating properties. Can be used as oil-free lubrication seal.

The O-ring has a simple structure and is easy to install.

O-ring working pressure: 0-300MPa; working speed: Less than or equal to 15m/s; working temperature: -55-250 degrees.

O-ring applicable medium: hydraulic oil, gas, water, mud, crude oil, emulsion, water-glycol, acid.
